We take it personally
Business doesn’t get more personal than this with our close and dynamic team. Chris Connors and Tom Admay started Meredith Piling & Shoring in 2013, drawing on a combined five decades of experience in the field. They've worked hard to make sure that MP&S is known for personalized, cost-effective and efficient services throughout the Carolinas and Virginia.
Either Tom or Chris supervises every job we work on. That means we have a personal stake in getting each job right. Our structure allows us to mobilize rapidly, make decisions on the job, and respond directly to your needs. You won’t have to wade through bureaucracy at Meredith Piling & Shoring, and you won’t have to pay for it either—we keep our overheads low and our costs down.

Tom Admay estimates bidding, manages projects, and is our administrative mastermind. Tom brings 30 years of engineering experience to this work, personally designing the plans that we put into action through his sister company. After many years of work as a consulting engineer, where he’d create a design but never see the final product, he takes great satisfaction in seeing each project through from beginning to end. He also appreciates the hands-on aspect of site supervision and enjoys seeing first-hand the value that our services provide.
Chris Connors is our man in the field. He estimates bidding, manages projects and operations, and supervises job sites. Chris has 13 years of experience in commercial construction site supervision, project management, sales, and estimating. He also worked for 5 years in residential underpinning and structural repair. After completing hundreds of piling and shoring projects, Chris still enjoys the fast pace and ever-changing environment that each new construction site brings. He is thankful for the variety of people he gets to meet and work with along the way.
